COURSE REQUIREMENTS

Please have students picked up in a timely manner after their lesson times.
Students must pass all classes, written permit test, driving lessons and a driving test in order to obtain a driver license
Student must have and possess a valid learner's driving permit in order to sign-up for this package.
You understand that this is only the second-phase of the teen driver's ed process. It is understood that the student is already enrolled in a 32-hour course either online, parent-taught online, or in a traditional driving school classroom.

BTW REQUIREMENTS

Behind-the-Wheel can take anywhere from 3 months to 6 months to complete. Student will use Schedule2Drive account to self-sign up for driving lessons.
These are private lessons and DO NOT take the place of the requisite hours required for teen driver's education (BTW Phase).
You my be required to setup a Schedule2Drive.com account to setup drive times. This is a one time $10 fee payable to S2D..
You understand that Behind-the-Wheel phase will start after the student driver has obtained their permit from the DPS.
Behind the Wheel phase is based on a first come first serve system and each student must promptly select open drive times or they will be taken.
You understand that drive times are released weekly on Wednesday's at 4:30pm.
You understand that a teen must hold their permit for at least 6-months and be 16 years of age before taking a driving test.
You understand that you must bring a valid student permit, no shoes that can slide off when driving, and corrective eyewear in order to drive.
Parents have to commit to practicing at home with their teen driver's in order for their child to best learn to drive.

FEES & POLICIES

Students will be charged a $35 fee for "no-show", no permit, not having glasses/contacts, not having appropriate shoe wear. Please notify of a cancellation at least 24 hours prior to a scheduled in-car lesson.
A fee of $100.00 will be charged if a student defaces or damages any school property (desks, tables, textbooks, etc.) If gas prices exceed $4.00 per gallon, an additional fuel surcharge of $3.00 may be charged for each lesson.
Customer has one-year from the start date of the online course (one-year from the point of the issuance of the learner's permit if student started the course before the age of 15). If services are not redeemed after such time the services pre-purchased will be forfeited.
Refunds are based on the period of enrollment computed on the basis of course hours completed. Mansfield Driving Academy may retain up to a $50 administrative fee before making a refund.
All services, courses and instruction are not refundable after 6 months from the purchase date if such services, course and/or instruction has not been redeemed or otherwise started by the student.

The school maintains a business insurance policy for vehicles with coverage as required by Texas Transportation Code, Chapter 601, and uninsured or under-insured motorist coverage.
This agreement constitutes the entire contract between the school and the student and no verbal assurances or promises not contained herein shall bind the school or the student.
